Core Pro Kit Guide

M&E–RBM Web Kit — Core Pro v88

From project setup to documented decisions

A public guide for exploring the workflow before purchase and consulting it without interrupting your work.

01

Install the Kit on Android

Open the Kit in Google Chrome on your phone or tablet, choose Install on Android and confirm. An internet connection remains required for protected data.

02

Quick start

Enter the project identity, dates, currency, status date, thresholds and working days. Then create or import the results framework, indicators and Annual Work Plan activities.

03

Import existing data

Import Kit templates or Microsoft Project XML. Review the preview and synchronisation report. An activity missing from a reimport is flagged but never deleted automatically.

04

Build the AWP and schedule

Use a stable code for each activity. Enter dates, duration, predecessors, FS/SS/FF/SF dependencies, budget, expenditure and progress. The AWP → Microsoft Project XML export produces a reusable schedule.

05

Read the Gantt chart

Bars identify scheduled, critical and completed work. The vertical line shows the status date. Filters display all tasks, the critical path or late tasks.

06

Interpret earned value

PV is planned value, EV is the value of completed work and AC is its actual cost. SPI below 1 indicates delay; CPI below 1 indicates cost overrun. EAC estimates final cost. The three S-curves compare PV, EV and AC.

07

Save a status snapshot

For each period, update the status date, expenditure, progress and remaining duration, then save the snapshot. History shows trends in SPI, CPI and forecasts.

08

Manage a change

Create the request, document its rationale and impacts, submit it for analysis, record the technical review and approving authority, then approve or reject it. A new baseline is frozen only after approval.

09

Generate a single periodic report

Choose weekly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual reporting. Check completeness, generate the narrative, edit comments, advice and decisions, then validate the snapshot before export.

10

Generate other documents

The Document Centre also produces plans, budgets, procurement plans, credit plans, tables and presentations. Deliverables can be exported to PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

11

Controls and good practice

Use unique codes, attach evidence, document decisions, resolve red and amber controls, and retain the Microsoft Project file used for each major update.

12

Work in French or English

The selected language controls the interface, generated comments and exports. User-entered titles and narrative remain unchanged.

13

Create and restore a sovereign backup

Choose a strong password, download the encrypted .segar file and keep the password separately. Before restoration, the Kit checks format, version and integrity and displays a summary for confirmation.

14

Get support

If you encounter a problem, note the section, activity code and displayed message, then attach a screenshot to your support request.
